I was lucky enough to get a dream flexible 1-3 day a week ecommerce manager role from an approach via LinkedIn. Now that’s finally come to an end (and now that I have a happy reason to want to work part-time in the form of a playful 2-year old) I’m genuinely surprised at how few part-time roles are advertised in the world of ecommerce.
I thought there must be lots of companies out there that could benefit from a part-time ecommerce manager rather than full time. Maybe the online sales can’t justify having someone full-time, they need someone to help a less experienced team, someone for a specific technical project, or to improve workings with the agency… Lots of reasons, all of which have applied to clients I’ve worked for at various times.
